Car & motorcycle insurance
Protect your mobility with the right level of cover.
Third-party motor liability insurance is compulsory in Morocco for every motor vehicle. It compensates third parties but covers neither the driver nor the vehicle. Three formulas are offered: Basic, Comfort and Comfort plus. Pricing is quote-based.
Individuals owning a motor vehicle (car, motorcycle, utility vehicle).
01 — At a glance
Taking out insurance protects you and others. Accidents do not only happen to someone else: at any moment you may be held responsible for a road accident — or be its victim. To drive with peace of mind, insurance is essential.
Third-party cover (motor third-party liability)
Minimum compulsory cover. Compensates only damage caused to third parties (other road users and passengers of the insured vehicle). It covers neither the driver nor the vehicle.
Complementary covers
A motor insurance contract can cover ancillary risks: third-party property damage, collision damage, theft, fire, broken glass, assistance, and defence and recourse.
Why take out car insurance?
The law requires minimum insurance for every motor vehicle: two-, three-, four-wheeled or more, equipped with an engine. As soon as you take possession of a vehicle, a contract specific to that vehicle is required.
Two-wheelers and utility vehicles
Beyond compulsory third-party liability, packs can include legal protection, theft and fire. Assistance services (breakdown, towing) and personal accident cover can complete the contract. For transport professionals, bespoke tariffs and covers are offered, including the theft and fire cover required by credit institutions.
02 — Regulatory framework
